Used in conjunction with high Wattage screw in lamps producing high temperatures.

Should be screw fixed to a ceiling or panel via the 2 x 3 – 4mm fixing holes in base of unit.

Electrical wire connection is made by means of 2 brass screw connectors at the base.

Inside, unlike inferior types, the bulb screws down on to a side and a central spring loaded connection terminal, both of which are solid copper.

Caution you would need to incorporate some kind of thermostatic controller to maintain correct temperature and avoid overheating for organic uses involving plants, pets etc.
