SL Plessey CVS E316 TO 39 Chip Transistor

These come to us as part of a lot of surplus stock purchased from a large ‘Milspec’ type Company, the chip itself is unmarked on the outer casing but they are still in an old storage box marked SL Plessey Type CVS E316 Retest date March 72. They are unused but due to their age we have classified them as ‘new other’. Quantity in stock at time of listing just under 2000 pieces.
We have sacrificed one of them by cutting off the top of the TO39 package in order to take some photographs of the silicon chip inside (see photographs).They are possibly some kind of dual UHF transistor or other simple early chip transistor. The number on the chip subtsrate is E 316.
