We can supply these two part filter sets to fit just about any size of fan.
Each set is supplied as two sheets, one for solids and the other activated charcoal for fumes etc.
Sheet 1) Designed to trap air born solids, particulates, aerosols etc. – this should be mounted to the outside of the fan filter unit
Sheet 2) Designed to trap fumes, odours, etc. this activated charcoal filled reticulated foam filter which will absorb particles down to 5u should be mounted behind the solids filter.
Each filter set will include one each of the above elements.
The particulate filter sheet is a first line of defence for solids, secondly comes the activated carbon mesh sheet, with it’s higher surface area it is particularly effective at trapping airborne particles. When used in your fume extractor, these filters can absorb a high percentage of the noxious fumes released while you work, eg. electronic soldering, lab work etc.

The sets could be used with any existing fan secured by inserting below an ordinary metal fan grill, see photographs, thereby helping to keep the local environment clean and safe.

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ type Co. and have been kept in storage for a time, they are however pristine, stored with us sealed in original packaging, both elements of the filter come in larger sheets which we cut down to order, the photographs are representative of their general appearance, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
