This fan is an excellent UPGRADE when replacing the KD0503PEV1, KDE0503PEV1, KDE0503PEV1-8 MS.N
They have the same specifications but are BALL BEARING and have a much longer life expectancy than the PEV models.
They come with a 55mm long lead terminated with a small Molex type 3 way connector.
They are found in several DELL and HP Pavilion Laptops.

Direction of Rotation: clockwise, viewing fan from front, specification label facing you – air flow is outward, toward you.
So in normal circumstances the fan would be mounted to a unit with the specification label outward thus pulling hot air out of the unit to be cooled.
For cooling computer or other electronic equipment, the fan is 30 mm square by 6 mm thick with 4 hole fixings, one in each corner, electrical connection is through 3 wires red, yellow and black, the yellow being a sense wire to indicate if fan fails (it can be ignored if not required).
