TA-X1 Cmos Safe Continuity Probe/short circuit finder
Ideal for development of… Wire Wrap boards, prototype PCB’s, backplanes, point to point wiring checks.
Engineering use… Fault finding and testing.
General Usage: for hobbyist/diy, electronic projects, car, ham radio, computing, model building, household wiring etc.
The Probe comes complete with red and black test leads, simply earth the black and trace the circuit with the red, a tone is given out which will drop as you approach the short, a plug in earpiece is provided for use in a noisy environment, lowest pitch is sight of short circuit. Full instruction sheet included.
Having been manufactured quite a few years ago they are not the most modern looking bits of kit but are easy to use with full instructions and still get the job done.
