Panel mounting DC Socket with 3 solder connection tabs at the rear (allows the socket to be orientated either way).
The socket is designed to be slotted in to a 11 x 15mm cut out in a 2mm thick panel.
This ensures an extremely tight and secure fit (the use of a little adhesive while not absolutely necessary may secure even more firmly), this rigid fix is extremely useful when used in something like a laptop where a high plug in and removal rate is likely.
