3.5mm Mono Line Jack-socket with flexible strain relief cable entry and solder terminals.
The socket unscrews to reveal a cable clamp contact and 2 shorter rounded solder tags.
Mono, 2-pole sockets (please note these connectors have two solder tags and a longer cable clamp – the two solder tags are the same pole)
Please ensure you require mono and not stereo !

We have included a photograph showing the internal layout of both of our mono and stereo plugs PG103 being mono and PG203 being stereo.
Please note: These mono sockets are very similar in internal design to the stereo version, the difference being with the 2 smaller solder tags, both in this case are rounded in the case of our stereo sockets (PG203JB) one is rounded the other square.
Recent feedback from an ‘eventually’ happy customer, who was not familiar with this design of mono plug.
“What confused me is the third contact in the mono socket. When I received them I tested the contacts with a resistance meter and found there was no contact between any of the contacts so I assumed they were stereo sockets. Today after seeing your pictures, I again tested the contacts with a resistance meter but this time with a stereo plug inserted and found that I have continuity between the earths as expected but only one audio channel from the plug goes to both of the other contacts, thus I have mono line sockets (as purchased) – many thanks. “

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Mispec’ type Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’, they are however pristine, stored with us sealed in original packaging, the photographs are representative of their general condition, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
