Controller comes on a PCI back panel to fit any PCI slot.
The fan controller takes the form of a PCI expansion bracket, except it doesn’t have to be mounted next to other expansion cards such as the graphics card. It can be mounted in any expansion slot alongside your other expansion cards if you so wish, a small securing screw is included. The fan controller has a simple design and features a small rotary dial which is used to adjust the speed from approx 20% to 100%. It comes with a 4pin to 3pin adapter cable which has two outputs on it so you can plug in your 4pin CPU fan and then have one output enter the fan controller and the other output enter the motherboard so you can let the motherboard do PWM control or override the motherboard with manual control.
The fan controller kit also comes with a molex to two pin cable, the two pin cable plugs into the back of the fan controller and the female molex connector will need a male molex connector from your power supply to power the unit.
