5 pin 180′ DIN Plug to socket curly extension lead made up from a PS2 curly extension lead and 2 adaptors to convert it into a 5 Pin DIN AT Plug to Socket Curly Extension Lead.
So if you suffer from COPD like me and need your retro AT computer system to be as close to the original specs. as possible and want to extend your AT keyboard lead, here’s an answer. I could not find an AT 5 pin DIN plug to socket curly extension lead anywhere on the internet, but in a flash of inspiration it dawned on me that we already had the solution in stock, a PS2 curly extension lead (our item PS2 Type Mini Din Curly Extension Lead 1 Metre+ OM0422) plus a 5 pin DIN female to PS2 6 Pin plug adaptor (search for our item – AT 5 Pin Din Socket to PS2 Plug Keyboard/Mouse Adaptor OM0834), plus a 5 pin male DIN plug to 6 pin PS2 female adaptor (search for our Item – AT 5 Pin Din Plug to PS2 Socket Keyboard/Mouse Adaptor OM0817).
Put them all together and you have an AT 5 pin DIN plug to 5 pin DIN socket curly extension lead!
Extension cable to suit the older 5 pin DIN keyboards and mice.
This self retracting curly lead gives greater range, for example from a base computer, without having a long dragging tangle of cable.
Un-extended length 0.7m, extending to over a metre.
Cable diameter 5mm.
Please note:- this is an extension cable i.e. it has a plug one end and a socket the other in order to extend the lead on your present 5 pin DIN keyboard or mouse for example, indeed it could be used to give greater range in any application where a 5 pin Din is used.
Ideal for extending any existing 5 pin din cable.
