These came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ type Co. They have possibly been used lightly then retrieved and kept in storage for some years, we have therefore classified them as used, they are in good serviceable condition but may have picked up the odd cosmetic mark or sign of age, the chromed cable clamp for example has some patina and is not as bright as it once was.

Please note: these are an older style connector made from a hard plastic material (possibly Bakelite – similar to old British household electrical switches and connectors).

Please do not purchase this item unless you have checked the measurements of the diameter, length and pin spacings.

Bulgin made many different sizes and types of connector very similar to this one!

The three socket receptacles are arranged in a flattened triangular layout, looking at it from the perspective of the 3rd gallery  photograph the Earth is in the middle with Live and Neutral to left and right, the inner screw terminals are marked L, N and E.

Format is 3 way socket, pins marked L, N and E with the locating notch above the earth, please ensure this is suitable for your application before purchase! 
This is the larger 5A version as used on some older equipment – some of the older guitar valve amps for example.
HOWEVER please study photographs and specifications given as there are many similar types!

This is a genuine BULGIN 3 pin 5A plug. The photographs are of one of our stock, what you see is a good representation of what you will receive.

IMPORTANT!

1. We have included a photograph of the mating half of this socket, a panel mounted plug, this is for illustration only, IT IS NOT INCLUDED HERE!!!. 
2. We have stripped and checked these sockets and guarantee all internal metal hardware, screws etc. to be present and correct. However when new, these would have included a small felt cord grip. This is not included – the socket can function without it.
