High-quality, produced in brass with a nickel-plated finish.
Relevant to damp environments – brass nickel plated finish suits most electrical switch and socket finishes in any environment.
Characterised by their incapacity to be wholly removed from a hole once they have been installed.
Reduced Shank Captive Screws are used across a number of different types of industrial machinery, especially where a loose or lost screw could cause catastrophic damage to an assembly or production line. They are also used to fasten covers or lids to electrical plugs/sockets, once loosened so the lid can be removed, the screw remains ‘captive’ in the lid and so cannot be misplaced.
