A little bit of an enigma this one – the connectors used are more usually used for low voltage power and they should be fine for this purpose (cable marked 30v), but the packaging is marked Mic Cable 108149-001 .
The only link we can find searching on line is to the HP Compaq Presario 100P computer system apparently these were supplied as a microphone cable.
