Vintage Panel/Chassis Mount Neon Indicator Unit
Type74A3
1/4W 250V mains neon lamp
Lights amber/orange
Panel Mount
Cut out required 31mm x 20mm
The unit snap fits into the cut out and is retained by a sprung steel clip. Panel thickness could vary, anything from 1mm to 4 or 5mm should be fine.
Electrical connection via 2 brass screw down terminals one marked ++ for the positive/live connection

Please note:- these were made way back, possibly in the 50’s or 60’s, the casing is made from a hard glossy plastic (similar to the old Bakelite). Due to their age they may have picked up a little discolouration/oxidisation on the metal clips but once panel mounted the clear faceted (amber when lit) indicator and the bevelled surround have a vintage but new appearance.
They are stored with us still in their original boxes, they have been tested and work perfectly.

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’. They are however in good serviceable condition, stored with us still in their original packaging, the photographs are representative of their general condition, being of one of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
