The connectors are 40 way IDE and are marked – System, Master and Slave.
Please note:- this ribbon cable is a narrower pitch than standard, as used on Fast SCSI data link cables.
If you compare this 80 way fast cable next to standard 40 way ribbon they are virtually the same width.
