Gold Plated PCB Interconnection System SIL (Single In Line)

PCB interconnection system for making quick on board contact with multi-way circuits.

Each unit is a kit of three separate parts…

1. 1 x 3 pin SIL PCB header plug with easy snap or cut insulation strip.
    
   Key Specifications
   • Pitch (Pin Spacing): 2.54mm (0.1″) standard (some specialized power or automotive headers use 2.0mm or 4.2mm).
   • Row Configuration: Single-In-Line (SIL / 1 row).
   • Pin Count: 3 pins.
   • Orientation: Straight (vertical) or right-angle (90 degrees).
   • Mounting Type: Through-hole solder or surface mount (SMT)
2. 2 x 2.54mm pitch shorting links.
   A 2.54 mm pitch shorting link (or jumper shunt) is a small electrical connector that bridges two adjacent male pin headers on a circuit board. It is widely used for configuration settings, power selection, and board-to-board programming. 
   Key Specifications
   • Pitch: 2.54 mm (0.1 inches), matching standard pin headers.
   • Design: Available here in an open-top style.
   • Contact Material: Phosphor bronze with tin or nickel plating.
   • Housing Material: Durable PBT thermoplastic (UL 94V-0 rated).
   • Current Rating: Typically up to 3A.

The 3 pin SIL connector has short (4mm) PCB mount pins on one side of the Insulation strip and longer (13mm) pins on the side with the shorting links.

They have been manufactured as 3 way but can be snapped or cut down to 1 and 2 way or end to end stacked to give a line of connectors as long as is required.
