3 Wire Temperature Control 4 hole fixings.

Electrical connection is through 3 wires red, white and black to a small 3 pin connector.
Red and Black are positive and negative (if only these are connected fan runs happily and the other white wire can be ignored).

A 3-wire fan has power, ground, and a tachometric (“tach”) output, which provides a signal with frequency proportional to speed. Control of speed of 3-pin fans can ONLY be done by changing the voltage supplied to it on Pin#2 (white wire), so this system is called “Voltage Control Mode”, or sometimes “DC Mode”

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large distribution Co. and have been kept in storage for a time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’, they are however pristine, stored with us still in their original packaging, the photographs are representative of their excellent condition being of one of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
