General Description
The MIC2940A is a “bulletproof”
efficient voltage regulator with very low dropout
voltage (typically 40 mV at light loads and 350 mV at
1A), and low quiescent current (240 μA typical). The
quiescent current of the MIC2940A increases only
slightly in dropout, thus prolonging battery life. Key
MIC2940A features include protection against
reversed battery, fold-back current-limiting, and
automotive “load dump” protection (60V positive
transient).
The MIC2940A is available in both fixed voltage (3.3V,
5V, and 12V) and adjustable voltage configurations.
The MIC2940A-xx devices are three pin, fixed-voltage
regulators.

PLEASE NOTE!
These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Mispec’ type Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’, they are however pristine, stored with us sealed in original packaging, the photographs are representative of their general condition, being of one of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
If you have similar items to this, or indeed any electronic components that are surplus to requirements please contact us with details.
