The Microsemi (now Microchip Technology) UPS840E3/TR13 is a surface-mount 40V, 8A Schottky barrier rectifier diode housed in a compact Powermite® 3 package. It is designed for high-frequency, high-efficiency power supply and DC-DC conversion applications.
A high efficiency rectifier it offers optimized forward voltage characteristics with reverse blocking capabilities of 35 and 40 volts, ideal for surface mount applications that operate at high frequencies. It offers high current/power capabilities previously only found in much larger packages.
