Mylar speakers produce excellent sound output (dB) at specified frequency ranges.
The use of Mylar is also beneficial in applications that are exposed to excessive moisture or humidity since Mylar has a high resistance to these environmental factors. They are specifically designed for outdoor use as the mylar cones are resistant to the effects of water or moisture.
Their wide frequency response makes them suitable for many applications, including alarm sounders.
