TRIPLE BIDIRECTIONAL THYRISTOR OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTOR
Description
The SP7180F3S series are 3-point overvoltage
protectors designed for protecting against
metallic (differential mode) and simultaneous
longitudinal (common mode) surges. Each
terminal pair has the same voltage limiting
values and surge current capability. This terminal
pair surge capability ensures that the protector
can meet the simultaneous longitudinal surge
requirement which is typically twice the metallic
surge requirement.

These came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ type Co. They are stored with us sealed in anti static bags and are in pristine condition. However having been in storage for some years we have classified them as ‘new other’.
As many of our lines come in to us as surplus – sometimes from high end ‘Milspec’ type manufacturers we try to pass on our savings to our customers – often selling industrial grade or military spec components at a fraction of their original cost.
