To suit a 6mm Diameter D shaped shaft. (See photo’s)

The D socket column is approx 11mm deep

Made from a tough plastic the  ‘D’ socket on the knob is very sturdy being reinforced with a ring insert with a high tensile steel base plate

 The rotary switch we show in the photographs above has a solid multi switching action which the knob copes with easily.

 Please note:- When fitting the knob to the shaft these are so solidly put together that quite a lot of force is required.

If replacing a broken knob check that the D shaft is 6mm and most important check that the shaft hasn’t seized (quite often this is why the old knob breaks) if it moves freely then this replacement should be fine and as our minimum quantity is 2 – you get a spare!

These knobs are multi-purpose 

Suiting applications from the precise adjustment of potentiometers, tuning controls on radio’s etc. to domestic appliance switches cookers etc. 

Basically if the shaft you need a knob for looks like the one pictured above and the diameter is 6mm, then problem solved.
