  Hand held electronic housing/enclosure for remote controls, with detachable small slide in front panel which could be drilled to house an IR transmitter LED, i.e. this small front panel could accommodate an IR LED, also known as an IR transmitter, which is a special purpose LED that transmits infrared rays and is often used in remote controls. 
  Approx 2mm wall thickness supplied in pale almond colour only

  Other front panels are available from Serpac – clear, infra red and transparent.

A box that will provide a professional looking finish to a wide range of electrical/electronic designs. The case is moulded in high-impact, ABS with integral battery compartment, accessible by a separate removable cover (we stock PP3 battery clips if required see our site).

To disassemble the enclosure the battery compartment cover must first be slid out, this is done by applying downward pressure to it while also pulling away from the main casing. 

The upper casing and base plate of the enclosure are held together by integral slide locking plastic clips, they are separated by lifting the base plate slightly at the battery compartment end and pulling away from the upper –

The small drillable front panel can be slid out once the 2 halves of the box are separated.

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large distribution Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’.
