SG was the logo used by what later became SGS
A TO-3 metal-can power semiconductor marked with “SG” or featuring an “SG” logo was manufactured by SGS (Società Generale Semiconduttori), an Italian electronics company founded in 1957. It later became SGS-ATES in the 1970s and eventually merged with Thomson Semiconducteurs in 1987 to become SGS-Thomson Microelectronics (now known globally as STMicroelectronics).

PLEASE NOTE!
These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large Milspec type Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’. They are however pristine, the photographs are representative of their excellent condition, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
If you have similar items to this, or indeed any electronic components that are surplus to requirements please contact us with details.
