These feature a handy thumb pull to make handling easy and tin-plated phosphor bronze contacts for precise electrical connections.
The female component fits 0.6 mm square header plug pins with a minimum recommended header pin length of 4.3 mm. It’s encased in black glass-filled PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a strong thermoplastic that provides good insulation as well as protection to the device. It has two contacts and is straight with a closed top.
Shorting links are used in electrical circuits to open, close or bypass a part of the circuit. They are frequently found in the design of PCBs.

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large Milspec type Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’.
