Heavy duty 24 pin DIL I.C. socket in black with raised outer side panels, once the chip is inserted only the very top is visible, all of its contacts/legs are protected from damage or short circuit.
Incorporating gold plated dual leaf mating contacts the outer leaf extends up the raised side panel to ensure good contact with chip legs.
Please note these are 0.6″ in width they suit a particular type of chip (older DIP EPROM Z80 ETC.) not suitable for 0.3″
