This unit is a type of speaker rather than an alarm buzzer, as such it has a metal diaphragm and a voice coil resistance of 16 Ohms. (40 Ohms impedence) The resonant frequency is just over 2 KHz.
This model is side firing to enable it to be mounted on a PCB and radiate its audio output in the same plane. This is commonly found in pagers as they are thin and often emit the audio from the top panel.
Producing 85 dB of sound at 10cm range.
Driven by a normal audio amplifier circuit.
