Transistor Socket Base to suit TO5/TO39 Transistor
3 way gold plated pins socket.
The three legs of the TO5/TO39 are ushered into place by the sloping sides of the socket mouth
Each leg of the transistor is then double swiped by a sprung gold contact on each side, both these contacts extend to the base of the unit where 6 pins in total can each be soldered to the PCB ensuring a good contact and extra stability.

These come to us as part of a job lot of surplus components from a milspec type OEM.
THEY HAVE BEEN IN STORAGE FOR SOME TIME WE HAVE THEREFORE CLASSIFIED THEM AS ‘NEW OTHER’
They are not in original packaging so we cannot give manufacturer etc.
