Xperience 3 Step Charger
Made by the Mascot Co. Norway
Ideal for charging 12 Volt Lead Acid Batteries 1Ah to 60Ah – yes that’s any lead acid battery from a small 1 Ampere hour to the huge 60Ah.
These came to us as part of a bulk purchase of surplus stock – due to equipment changes they were no longer required.
We believe they were used as some kind of standby power supply should the mains fail, but looking at their general condition they have not suffered heavy use. They are sold by us as fully working and should provide long service. – Don’t forget all our items come with a full guarantee!
Three Step Charger

Red, yellow and green
Red – fully discharged
RED: THE CHARGER IS IN A CONSTANT CURRENT MODE AND CHARGE CURRENT IS A MAXIMUM 2.7A, THE BATTERY CAPACITY IS BETWEEN 0 AND 80%
Yellow – 75% charged
YELLOW: THE CHARGER IS IN TIMER/CONSTANT CYCLE VOLTAGE MODE, CHARGE CURRENT IS LESS THAN 2.7A, THE BATTERY CAPACITY IS THEN BETWEEN 80 AND 90% FULLY CHARGED
Green – fully charged – ready/standby
GREEN: CHARGE CURRENT IS VERY LOW LESS THAN 2.7A, THE BATTERY IS 100% FULLY CHARGED, THE CHARGE VOLTAGE IS AT FLOAT/STANDBY LEVEL (13.8V) THE BATTERY CAN BE LEFT CONNECTED FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME
PLUGS DIRECTLY INTO A UK 13A SOCKET OUTLET.
Please note:- these are fitted with an output lead 900mm long, terminated with a 5mm power jack plug with a 2.5mm diameter centre pin. This is a standard option when purchasing a 9640 from Mascot.
If you wish to connect this jack plug to anything else – say a pair of crocodile leads, we can supply a suitable cable mount jack socket with centre pin…

This would connect to the output jack plug and to which one could solder 2 wires terminated in whatever connectors you want – Croc’s, ring or spade terminals etc, etc.

The 9640 model charger is made by the Mascot company in Norway and normally retails at £40 ++.
Supplied by Mascot to exactly the same specification but made specifically for and branded “Xperience” to suit a particular Xperience product.

These units came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock, they have been used and have been kept in storage for a time, they are however fully working (tested prior to dispatch) and in good serviceable condition, the photographs are representative of their general appearance being of a randomly selected sample from our actual stock, and as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
Each Charger will be tested and put through its full charging cycle prior to dispatch.
