Adastra were an importer and distributor of electronic components and equipment back in the day.

Collectable, vintage 1970’s we think, these analogue sound level meters could literally check out an actual ‘blast from the past’. 

They came to us as part of a large parcel of surplus stock from the old BCL Co. of Harrogate, having languished there for many years, and guess what, they are in pristine condition and work perfectly. Still in original boxes and with a neat leatherette carry case and full user instructions….
Originating from the far east check out the floral English used – did you know that too much noise….
“will make us nervous and cause the glandular excretion variation evermore”
Despite their age and the analogue style display in this digital age, these do work well and give an accurate reading of sound level.
