Pre Drilled to mount a TO5 style 9 pin metal can type device,
as far as we can tell – this style of package is used for some relays, see below for an extract of a report we found re “9 pin TO5 metal can package”
with 14 Fins 15mm high – 7 either side.
Originally supplied to a large ‘Milspec ‘ type Co. these are of very high quality.
They are stored with us loose in tote bins, unused and in very good condition

“A number of relays use a TO-5 metal package. These devices use 8 and 9 pin cases.
The pins are spaced at 0.2 inches [per the package standard], and are spaced at 36 degrees.
DPDT 1 amp, 28 volt relays, types; 712, 722, and 732 types. RF types; RF300 & RF310.
The leads may be straight off the body as in a normal through hole part, or cut, bend and performed to form a surface mount J-Lead [SMD Gull Wing] mounting package.”
As many of our lines come in to us as surplus – sometimes from high end ‘Milspec’ type manufacturers we try to pass on our savings to our customers – often selling industrial grade or military spec components at a fraction of their original cost.
