This is the switch on the bonnet hinge that operates the under bonnet light
Chassis Range Applicability 1965-1980 RR Silver Shadow I, II and Bentley T1, T2, Silver Wraith II
These are still in the manufacturer’s original box and are individually packed in tissue paper.

Plunger Switch
Single pole on/off.

Good old fashioned Bulgin quality, heavy duty long lasting switches.
These are made with a hard plastic casing and a nylon plunger.
They have a simple on/off function, if fixed to a panel or cabinet next to the door with the plunger protruding, the door when shut or opened depresses the plunger and operates the switch.
Electrical connection via 2 screw down wire terminals to receive up to 3mm diameter bared wire
Two fixing screws required (not supplied)
