Gold over Nickel Phosphor Bronze Contacts

These dual in line headers have 28 “U” shaped gold plated solder receptacle slots at the top of each pin facilitating the connection of wires or components across the gap between the 14 pairs of pins, the header could then be soldered or connected directly to a PCB or inserted into a standard 0.6″  I.C. socket. Ideal for prototype work or design and testing of circuits

THESE PARTS CAME TO US AS PART OF A “JOB LOT” OF SURPLUS STOCK.

THEY WERE ORIGINALLY SUPPLIED BY THE CAMBION – MIDLAND ROSS CO. A LARGE MILSPEC TYPE COMPONENT MANUFACTURER FROM YEARS GONE BY. 

THEY ARE NOT DATE CODED BUT WE KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN IN STORAGE FOR SOME YEARS –  HAND WRITTEN DATES ON SOME OF THE BOXES SUGGEST MANUFACTURE IN THE 1980’S.

Given their age and the ‘Milspec’ type manufacturer, these connectors were both made to a higher specification, and gold plated to a greater thickness than is available today!

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ type Co. and have been kept in storage for a time, they are however pristine, stored with us still in their original packaging, the photographs are representative of their excellent condition, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
