The NB121005-00V is a rugged weatherproof enclosure that is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications. Constructed from moulded halogen free self extinguishing fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP), it is well suited for high temperature or corrosive environments. The integral mounting flange allows it to be wall mounted as well as on a flat surface without the need for extra mounting hardware. The fully gasketed lid features two stainless steel quick release latches and a continuous stainless steel hinge. The light grey colour of the NB121005 series imparts a clean and aesthetically pleasing finish to the enclosure. Users can enjoy the physical benefits of better heat reflection and better UV resistance due to the lighter colour. The contoured body provides an attractive and contemporary appearance. It has pre drilled holes in the enclosure for two Type-N bulkhead lightning protectors or connectors. In addition, a grounding lug and a cable conduit connector are provided.

• Enclosures are maintenance free and corrosion resistant. 

• Bases and opaque covers are made from hot compression moulded halogen free, self extinguishing fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) that can withstand continuous temperatures from -58°F to 302°F (-50°C to 150°C) and momentary exposure to temperatures up to 392°F (200°C).

 • Can be drilled/modified to customer specifications.

 • Gaskets are made from continuously poured polyurethane foam. 

• Moulded on mounting flanges increase strength. 

• Corner ribs reinforce strength in the cover corners.

 Applications 

VJ enclosures are designed for use as electrical junction boxes in highly corrosive environments and provide protection for equipment and operators from indirect electrical contact.
