With fixing lugs at either end the connector is designed to be fixed to a PCB or Panel, alternatively the lugs could be ignored and the connector left as a free ribbon cable type.

Non-keyed (will mate any way up)
IDC pins that crimp on a flat ribbon cable with 2.54mm pitch
