Package: plastic DO-204 not glass, gold plated leads

While zener diodes were invented in 1950, the tape and reel packaging became standard many years later during the 1970’s as the electronics manufacturing industry evolved to favor automated assembly over manual placement. These are not date coded but their packaging would indicate an early manufacture date possibly in the 1970’s.

These are genuine Motorola diodes individually packed in tear to open sachet’s, within the sealed pack the diode is in good condition with clear lettering and gold plated legs.
