The MPS2222A is a widely used, NPN, general-purpose silicon bipolar junction transistor (BJT) housed in a TO-92 plastic package. It is designed for low-power, low-voltage, high-speed switching and amplifier applications, featuring a 40V collector-emitter rating, a 600mA maximum collector current, and a 300MHz transition frequency.
These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ Co. the transistor legs have been cropped and joggled ready for PCB insertion but never actually used.
