Have you seen the price of test/programming adapters for WSON-8 6x5mm SMT BIOS chips? I bought these to try an idea & it turns out yes… Two of these
4-terminal edge connectors will ‘clamshell’ round a WSON-8 6X5mm chip to act as a budget test socket. Might be a marketing idea for you 🙂 Thanks
