Extension cable to suit the older PS2 Mini DIN keyboards and mice.
This self retracting curly lead gives greater range, for example from a base computer, without having a long dragging tangle of cable.
Un-extended length 0.7m, extending to over a metre.
Colour Grey
Cable diameter 5mm.
Please note:- this is an extension cable i.e. it has a plug one end and a socket the other in order to extend the lead on your present PS2 keyboard or mouse for example, indeed it could be used to give greater range in any application where a PS2 is used.
Ideal for extending any existing PS2 cable – or by using 2 adaptors you can transform this lead into an AT keyboard lead…
So if you suffer from COPD like me and need your retro AT Keyboard/Mouse computer system to be as close to the original specs. as possible and you want to extend your AT keyboard lead, here’s an answer. I could not find an AT 5 pin DIN plug to socket curly extension lead anywhere on the internet, but in a flash of inspiration it dawned on me that we already had the solution in stock, this PS2 curly extension lead, plus a 5 pin DIN male to PS2 6 Pin socket adaptor (search for our Item – PS2 Socket to 5 Pin Din AT Plug Keyboard/Mouse Adapter OM0817), plus a 5 pin female DIN socket to 6 pin PS2 male adaptor (search for our Item – 5 Pin DIN Socket to 6 Pin PS2 Plug Adapter OM0834).
Put them all together and you have an AT 5 pin DIN plug to 5 pin DIN socket curly extension lead!
