These are high quality old fashioned jack plugs, originally patented by Rendar in 1958/59 to see original patent and improvement

We believe these are PO B-gauge jack plugs – only the sleeve is 1/4″ the tip and ring are smaller diameter, and are slightly different from modern 6.35mm jacks.
They were designed for patch bays in telephone exchanges and broadcast stations.
The shaft of the plug is 1/4″ in diameter (6.35mm).
The chromed ring between the two insulating bands is approx 5.25mm diam.
The end tip ball section is approx 4.25mm diam.
Designed for use with a screened cable.
Plug unscrews to reveal four separate components:-
1) Chromed stereo jack shaft section with three screw terminals
2) Chromed metal barrel section (plastic lined)
3) Plastic cable clamp
4) Plastic cable entry end cap.
These are in brand new condition though they have been in storage for some years, you are buying an old fashioned quality component here.
