You can have any number of cores to your flat cable, if you need an odd number that is not given in the drop down box just order the number that has slightly more than you require and peel off the excess cores.


You will receive a cut length of cable in the no. of ways and length required in ‘AS NEW’ condition – and don’t forget, all our products come with a full guarantee.


Product Details

Flat Ribbon Cable

Colour-coded ribbon cable with 10 colour repeat for use with insulation displacement connectors. Consists of stranded round conductors pre-insulated with colour-coded PVC and laminated on specific centres between layers of clear PVC to form a planar cable. May be split into any number of ways by tearing between conductors. The colour coding allows easy circuit tracing and routing, whilst the laminate ensures precise alignment and spacing between conductors, essential during assembly with the connectors.

This cable comes on 100ft 34-conductor reels with a 10 Colour repeating pattern – Black, White, Grey, Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Red and Brown
Please note: colour pattern will be the same, but as we split 34 way cable down to make up some orders, the pattern you receive may not always start with the same colour.

Product Overview

28AWG Flat Ribbon Planar Cable with stranded tinned copper conductors and a PVC jacket. The colour coded cable makes for easy identification. Ideal for applications in digital and analogue signal transmission and is designed for mass termination techniques including IDC connectors. With the conductor centres the same as the contact centres of the connector, separation and stripping of individual conductors is completely eliminated. The colour coding allows easy circuit tracing and routing.

This cable came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large Milspec type Co. and has been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified it as ‘new other’, it is however pristine, stored with us still on original reels and ‘as new’ in all respects, the photographs are representative of it’s excellent condition, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products it comes with a full guarantee.
