Card edge connector to mate with a finger plated PCB with a 2.54mm pitch.
26 Way ribbon cable mount card edge connector socket (26 contacts, 13 top and 13 bottom)
IDC – Insulation Displacemment Connector…
Ribbon cable is laid on the rear clamping plate of the connector housing, the front section containing the IDC pins is then lined up using the 2 locating pegs on the rear panel and downward pressure applied, forcing the IDC pins to pierce or displace the insulation of the cable, and make contact with the inner copper conductors.
The connector has mounting lugs at either end so it can be secured with screws if desired (not supplied).
Non-keyed (will mate any way up)
Ideal for making custom ribbon cable for applications that require 26 Pin Card Edge connectors.

These are stored with us still sealed in original packaging (boxes of 40 pieces).
Given their age and their ‘Milspec’ type manufacturer, these connectors were both made to a higher specification, and gold plated to a level not available today!

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large ‘Milspec’ Co. and have been kept in storage for some time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’. They are however pristine, stored with us still in their original packaging, the photographs are representative of their excellent condition, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
