These displays incorporate bright LED segments easily seen in daylight
The POWER illuminated photo was taken in ordinary daylight.
The photograph with the single segment illuminated was taken at our well lit photography station.
Displays consist of 4 x 7 segment figure of 8 characters 10mm high with a colon (:) in the centre (ie 88:88)
Originally manufactured to suit a particular customers requirements the words Bypass and Power, with an envelope symbol between them, appear across the top of the display above the 88:88 symbols.
If the words Bypass and Power and the envelope symbol between them were not required, then it would be a simple matter to blank off this part of the display unit and ignore it.
Thus leaving the purchaser with a very inexpensive supply of
4 digit 7 segment displays !

Pin – 2 = Anode (for digit 1)
Pin – 3 = D Cathode (for all digits)
Pin – 4 = B Cathode (for all digits)
Pin – 5 = Anode (for digit 2)
Pin – 6 = Anode (for Dots)
Pin – 7 = Cathode (for BYPASS, POWER, SYMBOL and DOT segments)
Pin – 8 = Anode (for digit 3)
Pin – 9 = A Cathode (for all digits)
Pin – 10 = Anode (for digit 4)
Pin – 11 = E Cathode (for digit 1)
Pin – 12 = C Cathode
