This media filter is used to connect a PC with a Token ring adapter to UTP cabling – it  limits radiated energy and reduces R.F. Interference. 

The RJ45 input socket has 8 gold plated pins, connected within the casing to the built in 4/16Mb filter and then on to the 9 way D type plug, which comes with two locking thumbscrews. Inside the device the filter unit comprises of a small PCB on which is mounted a DIL chip like device marked TF 003. All pins appear to be connected.

These parts came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large distribution Co. and have been kept in storage for a time, we have therefore classified them as ‘new other’, they are however pristine, stored with us still in their original packaging and ‘as new’ in all respects, the photographs are representative of their excellent condition, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
