These self-normalling, ‘WECo’ (Western Electric Company) style video jackfields pass uncompressed, 1080p HDTV video up to 3Gb/s (SMPTE424M).
They have enclosed jack-pair modules with internal normalling switch contacts, self-wiping on plug insertion.
These modules feature gold-plated, beryllium-copper centre and outer contacts and actuator for a long and reliable working life.
This medium density, lightweight design fits 24 channels into a 1U frame.
The main module,HDVDPT, is self-terminating, so on inserting a patchcord plug into either top or bottom jack, the disconnected circuit is automatically terminated into a 75 ohm load.
All have BNC connectors at the rear.
To minimise dust and dirt ingress, the jack pairs are housed in rugged diecast housings, which are secured by front-panel screws, permitting simple module exchange.
