40 Way ribbon cable mount IDC card edge connector socket (40 gold plated contacts 20 top and 20 bottom).
Manufactured in the 80’s by SAE/Midland Ross Ltd. (Stanford Applied Engineering being the US parent Co.)
These are stored with us still sealed in original packaging (boxes of 40 pieces) and are absolutely ‘as new’.
Given their age and their ‘Milspec’ type manufacturer, these connectors were both made to a higher specification, and gold plated to a higher level, than is available today!
