THESE ARE NOT INCLUDED!!
(100K Ohm for US 110Vac use)
These offer a powerful and durable option for signalling the availability of power in many commonly used electrical components.
This miniature lamp provides a long working life of 20,000 hours and high levels of brightness, thanks to its neon gas-filled glass casing. It has external wires that can be directly connected to equipment when used with a suitable limiting resistor in series with one leg.
- 120 VAC mains: 50–220 kilohms (kΩ)
- 220 VAC: Twice the value for 120 VAC mains
- The resistor’s power rating is usually ¼ watt or less.
The 3rd photograph shows the neon bulb connected to 240Vac with a 220K Ohm resistor connected in series to one leg.
The body of the lamp is 4 mm in diameter and it emits a vivid, amber light. It has a current rating of 250 μA.
A neon indicator lamp such as this one is widely used in electrical components. Thanks to its long life and low power consumption, it’s useful for long-term monitoring of mains voltage in a variety of industries.

Lead Length 30mm
Standard Brightness Amber Neon lamp
Series Resistor: 110Vac 100 kohm
Series Resistor: 240Vac 330 kohm
Useful Life: 20000 Hours
They have a long lifespan of 20,000 hours.
They can operate in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
The life expectancy of a neon lamp increases as the operating current decreases.
A neon bulb typically consumes 3.5–4 watts per foot.
PLEASE NOTE!
These came to us as part of a lot of surplus stock from a large electronic component distribution Co. and have been kept in storage for a time, they are however pristine, stored with us still in their original packaging, the photographs are representative of their excellent condition, being of some of our actual stock, and, as with all our products they come with a full guarantee.
If you have similar items to this, or indeed any electronic components that are surplus to requirements please contact us with details.
