The AD140 is a vintage PNP germanium alloy power transistor housed in a metal TO-3 package, commonly manufactured by brands like Mullard and used historically in audio frequency (AF) power amplifiers and output stages (such as the classic Leak Stereo 30). Here we have this transistor as marketed by Telepart of Harwell London back in the 70’s (date coded 3674) they are stored with us still in Telepart packaging.
